Murlough Point is a newly built stylish family home designed with every comfort. The house is a completely secluded, private hideaway at Murlough Nature Reserve, one of Northern Ireland’s areas of outstanding natural beauty. The property offers total privacy and is minutes from Northern Ireland’s most beautiful beach at Murlough set against the impressive backdrop of the Mourne mountains. The house is just 10 minutes from the world famous Royal County Down golf course.
The heart of the house is warm, welcoming with open plan living to relax, enjoy the roaring fire and views of the private garden. There are six immaculately finished bedrooms with unique en suite bathrooms. Three further sitting areas including a cinema room with sofa beds.
Sleeps 12 guests in 6 bedrooms: There are 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms upstairs, all with bath/shower options and beds can be made up as singles or doubles. There are 2 further bedrooms on the lower ground floor, one with a king size bed and a walk-in en-suite shower. The 6th bedroom is located in the Bunk House across from the main house accessed via covered walkway. This bedroom also has its own bathroom and is adjacent to the Cinema room with sofa beds

There are 3 further sitting areas at the property, which include a TV room with L-shaped sofa near the front door, an upstairs quiet room with sofa and desk and a cinema with wide screen TV and 4 sofas
The kitchen is fully equipped with an Everhot cooker, coffee machine, Smeg fridge, 2 dishwashers
The dining area comfortably seats 12 guests
There is a separate pantry with a sink, additional fridge, freezer and microwave and a bar with a small sink and two under counter fridges
Two cloakrooms downstairs and a back hall for outdoor clothing, opening into a utility room with washer, dryer and iron. The whole house has underfloor heating.
A travel cot with fitted sheet is available on request, guests are asked to supply their own bedding. There is a clip on chair and a high chair available on request.
Outdoor seating, dining and fire/ BBQ
There is a Games room downstairs, with table tennis/ pool table and french doors which open onto the courtyard and dining area. Next to the sauna is a hot outdoor shower, ideal after a day on the beach.
There is a private Boat House which is available (for a supplement) on request
The house is close to many golf courses, including world famous Royal County Down (10 minutes from the house)
Other activities include: Cycling (electric bikes to hire) around the Mourne mountains, kayaking and padel boarding in local forest parks and many coastline and mountain walks.
There are some great foodie options in the area, including a fish restaurant and a great gastropub in walking distance.
