An extended former Victorian Hunting Lodge with large, tranquil gardens. The rear of the house faces south-west and is the perfect spot for a sundowner after a day filled with fresh-air and good company. The entrance hall, featuring a log burning stove, is a lovely place to take time out with a good book or the Sunday papers and leads down to the kitchen dining room which can be set up for an intimate dinner or for up to 13 with an extension table. There are two further receptions rooms, a formal drawing room with baby grand piano, and off that a library/television room that is perfect for a relaxing movie night. The drawing room opens out onto a south-west facing terrace that looks out over the large private gardens, and over 50 private acres for walks and picnics and the beautiful swimming pool is in the rose garden.
